MURRAY EASON

I started my journey into purebred dogs at the age of 14, when I helped a family friend with a Shih Tzu kennel.  I became fascinated with the purebred dog fancy and the rest as they say is history.

I acquired my first miniature poodle at the age of 18 which I showed to his Canadian Championship.  This started my love affair for the breed and I have been involved with breeding, showing and raising poodles ever since.

I have bred all three varieties of poodles successfully under the Belcourt prefix.  Producing Best in Show poodles in all three varieties,  all well as numerous performances champions in obedience, rally, agility, taking top honours in Canada.

Along with my partner we also bred whippets for over 19 years under the Poseidon prefix.  

I have shown a various breeds over my 40 years in dogs.

I started my judging career in 2013 and I am now an all breed judge with the Canadian Kennel Club.  I have judged throughout Canada and the United States.  Judging both all breeds and numerous poodle Specialty shows in both countries.

I am past President of the Manitoba Poodle Fancier's, Poodle Club of Alberta, a member in good standing with the Poodle Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club.  I have held numerous club positions in various clubs across Canada, that has been an invaluable source of pride.

I have been involved as a breeder owner, handler, for over 40 years.  I look forward to many more productive years in the dog fancy.
